What we collect

• Account info — email address, name (from Google sign-in or magic link)
• Audio files — uploaded for transcription, stored on Cloudflare R2
• Transcripts — generated text, speaker labels, summaries, notes, markers
• Usage data — transcription count, credit usage, anonymous analytics (PostHog)

How we use your data

• Transcribe your audio using AI speech-to-text services
• Store transcripts and audio for your access
• Process payments via Polar (we never see your card details)
• Send transactional emails via Resend (sign-in links, credit gifts)
• Improve the product through anonymous usage analytics

Third-party services

• Speech-to-text providers — audio is sent to third-party AI services for transcription
• Cloudflare — hosting, database (D1), file storage (R2)
• Firebase — Google sign-in authentication
• Polar — subscription and payment processing
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• PostHog — anonymous product analytics (opt-out available)

Your audio

Your audio files are stored securely and are only accessible to you (and anyone you share a transcript with). We do not use your audio to train AI models. Audio is sent to third-party speech-to-text services for processing and is subject to their respective privacy policies.

Data retention

Your transcripts and audio are retained until you delete them or delete your account. Purchased credit packs expire after 12 months. You can delete your account and all associated data from the account settings page.

Analytics opt-out

We use PostHog for anonymous product analytics. No transcript content or audio is sent to analytics. You can opt out from the banner shown on first visit or from your account settings.
